MSA’s ALTAIR Single-Gas Detectors provide over two years of maintenance-free performance (depending upon alarm time used). These single-gas detectors are long-lasting, cost-effective, and offer outstanding dust and water protection while featuring a distinctive triple alarm system. Two bright LEDs and a piercing audible alarm paired with a standard vibrating alarm help to ensure that no alarm condition goes unnoticed. The outside of the device is wrapped with rubberized armor housing for maximum impact protection and features a large single button design for durability and ease of use. Units will not deactivate after two years of operation; instead will perform as long as battery capacity and sensor performance allow and the built-in calibration feature enables users to potentially further extend instrument life.
